Well after the 10+ inches of snow we got last week, I am so happy to report that today was a high of 50 degrees. The snow really started to melt. Since Sydney and Dickie have cabin fever, we took them to the canal to walk around. This was Dickie's first real walk on a leash. His little belly was so wet by the time we walked around the canal. Poor guy! Sydney's white legs were black. When we got home they both got baths and took a loooong nap.
I am currently in training mode for the mini-marathon. My 12-week program officially starts next week. I am up to 2.5 miles. I was nervous about the 13.1 mile goal but I think I am on my way to a wonderful start.
